Overview
Panic is often a sudden short-lived experience of intense anxiety which can be very distressing. These experiences are often known as ‘attacks’ and when they happen they can be very frightening.
Attacks may be brief and stop, as well as start, without warning. Getting to grips with these types of attacks is clearly important for health and well-being.
Eradication is often achieved using a combination of ‘thinking therapy’ (such as CBT) with behavioural techniques to help the body relax.
